Alexa vega hair

Does anyone have any advice on how to curl my hair like alexa vega's on Ruby and the Rockits? Ive never watched the show, but her hair is gorgeous. Here are some pics I found on google:

it looks like she uses a 1 inch round curling iron. you could play around with that size. the bigger you want the curls, the bigger the barrel and the smaller the iron the smaller the curls.
