Ok the r4 is for downloading game onto from websites like a place called piratebay.com. You have to make sure the games you searched say nds. its basically just a normal ds card that says r4 and has a memory stick cartridge in it to put games on. also on the updated cards you can put movies on and music and apply cheat codes.its about 98 percent good reviews. the only bad reviews are like not being able to play the game while listening to music. well you just turn the ds off and choose the pacman guy and touch the game you wanna play. i hope this helps because i have one and i love it.
