korea phone??

Question Posted Friday February 13 2009, 10:30 pm

ok. so my boyfriend is going to korea for a year to teach. his cellphone isn't going to work over there and the land line phone is going to be really expensive to call back here so he was talking about using some website to talk..the only problem is we would both have to be on the internet at the same time and because of the time difference, that will be hard. are there anyways he can maybe call my cell using something on the internet or a phone service that isn't very expensive?? Thanks for any responses..

Yupp! I lived there for a bit and I would usually buy phone cards. Tell him he could buy them at a place called Itaewon (its a place with shops, etc) for about $10/W10,000, and usually calls to the US will last around an hour.
Hope I helped!
