Zen crisis

My zen keeps on freezing up after i listen to it or fall asleep listening to it. can someone help me or at least tell me how to prevent this from happening, (or you could tell me how to restart it so that it will unfreez). Please and Thank You!!!

no, i didnt email the company but my zen is the one thats the size of a credit card

Which one is it? Some of the models have a hardware problem that can't be fixed. I have had two and they both did that and eventually stopped working. Have you emailed the company? They'll probably be more helpful.
