I think both the zune and the ipod are good media players, but I prefer the ipod and here's why.
When you plug in a zune and go to "my computer" there is no zune. On the other hand , when I plug in an ipod and go to "my computer" , there is a 30gb drive there.
This is great 'cause with an ipod I can use it for portable storage.
I even put an os image on an ipod and was able to boot from it.
Also I had a 5gb I pod mini that the scroll wheel and the display both didn't work , but I could use it for a flash drive.
If that had happened on a zune it would just be garbage.
I think the ipod is a better investment.

My friend Brittany has a Zune and she says it's a lot better than an iPod because it's organized better and the program you organize your music on is a lot better.
That's really all she's told me, but I could ask her more if you wish. =]
