Alex,
Your advice column makes my life. But anyways, my boyfriend and I have been going out for a month and I am not sure what to get him for Christmas. I don't want to get him clothes or a gift card, but something more personal, but not too personal because we have only been going out for a month.
Help!
Thanks for any advice you have...
Sincerely,
The Confused Christmas Lover

AlexLobrano answered Saturday December 6 2008, 12:27 am: In my opinion, it's hard to find a gift that any guy would like, especially when you want it to be somewhat personal. I would say that you should think of what your boyfriend is into, whether it's music, sports, car, or anything like that. Then narrow it down from there. Music you could get him a CD from his favorite band, and sports you could buy him a jersey from his favorite team. Also, I'm not a big fan of it, but some guys wear necklaces and stuff. Depending on if your boyfriend likes it or not, you could get him a necklace. But if you did, stick to silver. Gold makes you come off as way to into him to be giving him something like that (plus it's expensive). Silver is casual and a lot of guys wear it, and it can be personal depending on the style. Hope that helps. [ AlexLobrano's advice column | Ask AlexLobrano A Question ]
