sweet 16
im turning 16 in april.
i wanna have a party but my house is not designed for one. i dont want to spend hundreds of dollars either. renting a hall is one idea but it seems like everyone is doing that, including my best friend(her birthday is cinco de mayo and shes planning her HUGE party already) there really isnt a limit on people either i guess. what can i do to make it different than other peoples and just really i need ideas and maybe themes?

here are some of my random ideas lol hope you find what you're looking for and happy sweet 16
different themes will definately set you apart. like maybe "christmas in april" or your favorite time of year in april.
or what about having it on the beach? have people dress up with leis and hawaiian looking dresses, its cute, my friend had the same thing. it would be a luau theme
or maybe a masquerade if you're into that, have everyone wear old fashioned clothing and a mask to be in disguise.
or make it halloween-ish were everyone dresses up in their favorite costume or tries to represent someone =]]
if you want to stand out from everyone in your party, have them wear only black and white, while you wear a "pop out" color like red or blue.
personally i love mardi gras, so i would make that my theme and everyone wears green or purple, here's a link to some things that would help if you decide to do mardi gras
