Event Ideas

Question Posted Sunday September 21 2008, 9:35 pm

So, right now I currently hold the position as an event planner in my youth group. I was wondering what events I can do that are unique and not overly used. So far I'm thinking of a party for a cause, and I was thinking of others such as
rockclimbing
ice/roller skating
cosmic bowling
movies
bonfires
but they aren't really what I would consider unique
if it helps were anywhere from 15-18 years of age. Any other ideas?

Here are some of the things my youth group has done:

-Lock ins

-Have a summer party in the middle of winter (i.e turn up the heat and have everyone come dressed in summer clothes. It's SO much fun).

-Hire a local band and have sort of a mini concert (inviting youth groups from other churches makes it even better)

-Go to an amusement park

Most of the time teenagers will enjoy themselves as long as there is food and music present lol.
