Toothpaste cures acne?

or so i've heard. if it IS true, can anyone tell me the best toothpaste to use? and how long it'll take till my acne is gone? :/

Toothpaste helps dry out a pimple. It worked for me. I just use the toothpaste I use to brush my teeth with - Colgate.

no. toothpaste does not cure acne. however, if you have a stray pimple, it supposedly helps it dry faster, which is true.

if you have light, moderate, or severe acne, you need to get actual medication FOR acne. the toothpaste thing, as i said, is only meant for one or two stray pimples for people with consistently clear skin.
