Question Posted Saturday August 23 2008, 4:31 pm

so... another period question... i've been wondering does it cause irregularities in a woman's monthly visitor? i did a bit of surfing and i found a lot of women who say that it does cause some sort of irregularity or extra pain when they masturbate before their upcoming period.... does it really? but i mean it doesn't sound logical... sex brings about the same result (+ or - a baby :p and a partner) so why aren't alot of women complaining that their Ps have been irregular (eliminating the possibility of them being pregnant off course...)

No, masturbating won't cause your period to be irregular. If anything, masturbating a day or so before you get your period lessens the amount of cramping you get.
If your period is irregular, you need to see a Gynocologist. They will be able to determine why and can give you medicine to regulate them, if needed.
