beach wave hair.

Question Posted Saturday June 21 2008, 5:39 am

hi,
i wanna get a beachy wave perm, not curly, but really lightly wave, but if you ask for a wavy perm - what will it look like? will it look very curly, or wavy? super wavy? and does it make your hair look thicker?

sounds cute!i've never gotten a perm but i would find a picture of the hair you want and bring it into the salon so they have an idea of what you want.

If your hair is thick, then a perm will make it spring outwards. If your hair is thick, then consider getting it layered first.

I have a beachy wave perm, but I had to start off with curly. My mother permed it for me and it was very very curly. So I spent the next few days combing my hair out while watching TV (often during classes). Within 3 days my hair was not curly but beachy wavey.

So I suggest you get a wavy perm, and comb your hair out for the next few days until you're happy with it.

Hope this helps =]
