how to download music onto my PSP?

I have tried several times to download music onto my Playstation Portable but each time I have failed. My computer screen reads "no device detected". Please helpo me. Thankyou!

Connect the usb to the back of your computer, and if it still doesn't work, blow on it to clean it out. Open windows media player, where you should have the music you wanna put in it, press "sync" at the top, select the music, and press the ok, sync, or continue button. Good luck!
