Im having a problem with clothing choices

Question Posted Saturday March 1 2008, 5:38 pm

m/13

I'm having a problem. i really like bright colors in my cloths and don't mind labels such as Hollister,Abercrombie,ect... except i have been wearing more of ( i hate labels but bare with me) "emo" persuasion of clothing for a long time. How could i keep both styles without being a poser? I have been called every name in the book emo,cutter,goth.... im just ready to add different types of clothing into my wardrobe. any advice on a happy medium? thanks

-Dakota

dont wear too much black. wear only a little. like never wear all black. pair a black shirt with like jeans or something. and you can wear skinny jeans but wear them with like a hollister or abercrombie shirt.

I have a problem kind of like yours. I don't really fit into a specific group but I like black just as much as I like color. Try to limit yourself to only two black articles of clothing per week. I know a lot of people that like "emo" clothes as much as they like Abercrombie, and that seems to work for them.
