Question Posted Wednesday February 20 2008, 12:53 am
Kind of a strange situation. I go to the cafeteria at our school every day and there's this girl that I kind of like behind the counter. I always smile and stuff when I order my food, and she smiles back, but I think it's because she's working. I doubt she knows that I have a little crush on her. How do I actually ask her out without sounding stupid or desperate or embarrassing me or her in front of her coworkers? I know she's single. Also, I dont want to say anything corny like when she asks "what can I get for you" I dont want to say "2 pepperoni slices and your phone number" or anything like that. Thanks
be natural and your self, if she realy likes you she wouldn't be emberise by you asking her. if you feel that isn't the best sistuation try finding a another place you can talk to her (if posible).
O yea this is very important! give a SINCER COMPLEMNT, that always help smooth unnaturality out. if you ever are at a lost for words (do this step)
I hope this helps
if you need anymore advice on this subject feel free to ask me.
LindaLou16 answered Wednesday February 20 2008, 10:10 pm: My dear friend,
Try asking her when she's not behind the counter. Engage in a casual conversation (if there isn't a long line behind you!) about what she likes to do and where she hangs out. Invite her to a group thing like a party or something and go from there. If she's interested, she'll pick up the hint. If she's not, there's less of a blow to you, and you can just say you're interetsed in being friends. Hope that helps!
