windows vista?

i hear that if you have a windows vista computer, you can't use programs such as limewire, ares, bearshare, etc. (basically anything that downloads music in that way.) true or false?

i have vista ... i have ares it work fine the only problem is and i don't know if it is like this on any windows system is that i can't download more than 2 songs at once and if i try to use the internet browser too it either says the page can not be found or loads super slow.... my advice get XP

Andd, my friend uses bearshare, and she has vista as well. =D

Now, sometimes...vista will reject a few programs, but make sure all firewalls are off, or allowing the program.
