[Dark Brunette long Hair]
ive out grown my hair for about a year+ now and my end are toally split like alot
i want to bleach my hair so i can color it w/ manic panic products [pink+] so here are my questions :
is it a good idea to bleach my hair ?
should i cut before or not do it at all[bleach]?
What can i do to not damage my hair anymore than it already is ?
if i bleach it myself how long should i leave it?
How severe will the damage o my hair be if i self bleach for too long ?

If I were you, I wouldn't bleach my hair. It is extrememly damaging and will cause splitting and breakage. If you still want to have it bleached, I would suggest you going to a salon and having is professionally done. Although this is a little more costly, the hair stylist will know exactly how long to treat it for, and the best products to use. Other than that, if you starighten your hair or use any kind of heat on it, be sure to use a product beforehand to help it not get so dried out.

i had highlights and had my hair checically staightend (witch dident work) and i regrett the highlights. But if you reallllly want to do this then and your hair already has chemicals in it then i would sugest taking really good care of it for a while. then after you bleach your hair cut off the split+damaged hair ends.

you might want to try a shampoo for split ends like dove or sunsilk or try seeing a salonist. bleaching you hair isn'ttoo good for it, with or without split ends. they make a lot of dying products that don't involve bleaching. you might need to get those split ends trimmed. your hair will be pretty screwed if you leave dye in too long.
