SIM card
is there anyway i can switch phones if i don't have a SIM card behind my battery without going to the altell store?

no- alltel phones aren't capable of doing that. with an alltel phone, the phone is the actual sim card, so you would have to take it to the store. that's what all my friends have had to do in the past.

Your phone is probably cdma. So you have to go to the store to switch.
