limewire connections

Question Posted Saturday November 10 2007, 1:13 pm

I tried to search on LimeWire earlier today. When I pressed search, a pop up box came up and said that "LimeWire is not currently connected to the network. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network." The words exactly. The little bar on file that says "connect" is faded out, and I have no idea what's wrong with it. Any help!?

You have two options.

1) Completely close out limewire. Don't forget to close the one that on your task bar (it'll most likely be in the corner). Then, simply run the file again and it should work.

2) In the limewear window, click file in the top left corner. When some options appear, click connect. It may not connect all the way but it will still do for looking up songs.
