Well when you guys go on dates, go places that you can be yourself, be comfortable and have fun at the same time. Like arcade, roller rink anything like that is sure to make things less akward. Best of luck, hope i helped some.

Heh. This brings back memories. One time, this boy I really liked liked me. So we would take walks with each other and we would talk but once in a while, there would be this huge silence. I was waiting for him to break it, but of course, I ended up doing it. If things get awkward just ask her how she's been and how everything is [trust me, most girls LOVE to talk, I'm one of those girls] or just tell a funny joke. Another thing you can do is compliment her. If your as random as me, you'll find something to say at the spir of the moment :D

i always make a joke about the awkwardness. say "whoa awkward silence" and she'll laugh and it'll make her feel more confortable. make a joke and even if it isn't funny, she'll laugh. then after the joke go into more conversation.
