sims 2 vs. sims stories

Okay so i have the sims 2 games but then i got a laptop so they are really slow. Is sims stories like the same thing but just taking up less memory or is it just like you write stories about different sims? k thanks

yes, its a separate game.

it says it has laptop friendly specs =D

the difference is you play like a story game. it has a better description if you scroll down on the page the link above leads you too, under the FAQ section.
