older guys okay so i like this senior boy and hes really cool and i told him that i liked him back. we have decided that we should be friends "FOR NOW" though. and like when i was hanging out with him things got to the point where i think that we both wanna be more then friends. and like im only a sophomore and i dont know if this is bad for him. because when we were hanging out he told me how much he liked me for me and that im beautiful. we talk almost every day and i realy like him. accept for the age difference. im 16 and hes 18. this is a problem because my parents are very skeptical about me dating, and this is pushing it (if you know wat i mean) and i dont know if it would be awkward for him to date down. like i just need advice.

when i was 14 i dated a guy who was 17. my dad flipped out and it took months for my mom to get used to it. it was a big difference and whenever we went out somewhere i got looks from everyone. that was a 3 year difference for me and he was two grades older. you only have 2 years and 2 grade differences which isn't as bad but if you do go out he'll probably be called a "cradle robber" which is a guy/girl who goes out with someone more than a year younger than them. he seems nice but i don't know him. get to know his history, how many girls has he been with? has he ever had a one night stand sort of thing? so yes it could be akward for him to date a younger girl but if he really really likes you he won't care. also if this relationship lasts sex would be illegal because he's 18 and you're a minor...just so you know. sometimes older guys want more than what younger girls are ready for. if he's a nice guy then go for it but if you start to feel pressured just tell him to back off for a bit.
good luck
