Hi =]
Here are a few(I hope) simple steps to help you as you requested.

1. Go here [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and download paint.net, if you dont have it already. Its 100% free. You can use any other programs like Gimpshop etc, which are also free, but paint.net is extremely easy to use.

2. You should read the skin specifications here [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) if you havent already, to learn about the sizes for each section.

3. Once you have paint.net or another good imaging software, you need to get started on the 7 different graphics. If you already know what you want your skin to look like, all the better. Now, if you want to make lots of skins, I suggest you create simple, one color styles for all the graphics apart from the main background. This should save you tons of time from having to create all 7 graphics each time as opposed to just the main bg, but choose whats best for you lol =). So click file, new, and a window with sizes will appear. If you are going to start with nav. bg, set the pixel sizes to 760x40 and so on. Once you have chosen how you want the skin graphics, e.g. black, you can fill it with color and add any designs you wish, though again, i suggest to keep it simple so you can use these graphics for more skins. IMP: save each graphic with a .GIF extension when you're done, for best quality and smallest sizes. Paint.net is really good because it shows you a preview of how it will look if you save it in a specific format. I suggest you keep a folder for all your bebo skins and sections etc to make things easier. I keep all 6 graphics in one folder named like blackbebo or pinkbebo or hotpinkbebo etc. Then I keep another folder for all the main backgrounds.

4. Once youve done with the 6 graphics and are ready to start the main bg, just select the size like before (760x375) and get creative! You can do whatever you want on the main bg, but make sure it will match with the other graphics. If you want to make it as a background to the profile text, make sure its not too complicated design so it will be readable. If you want to put it on top of the profile, do whatever you want :)

5. Once youve saved all the graphics in .gif go on your profile, select change skins, roll your own, add a new skin. choose a name etc and click upload graphics. upload all 7 graphics accordingly and youre almost done. now click edit stylesheet. this is the part i find annoying. choose all the colours you want but be sure to match with the skin you have made. again, your best bet is to keep it simple. IMP: if you want your main bg to be ON TOP like this [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), make sure you change the PADDING TOP to a large number. the measurement is in pixels, so if you want all your main bg to show, you would have to select something around 375, for that is the size of the main bg you saved =]. Otherwise, i like using 300, 250, but it doesnt really matter because you can just preview and change anything. then go to save and preview. change what you want until youre happy with your skin. then you can click 'use this skin' and select from the 3 options. your skin is ready!

6. you can keep making skins really fast if you always use the same 6 graphics. then you just create new main bg each time. for example, i dont put anything on my 6 graphics: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). also, an automatic link to your profile will be on the right of the nav bg so people can get to your page.

HOPE TO HAVE HELPED.
HAVE FUN
