Haircut

Question Posted Saturday July 14 2007, 10:27 pm

Hi. So, I saw that you had answered a question stating that you used to have long, straight hair, and then got side bangs. This is exactly what I want to do! I have long, straight, boring, blond hair that is parted to the side. When you went to the salon, what did you ask for? Also, you went to a salon right? I don't think I'd trust anything else. I'm also of getting my hair tapered in the front. Is that what you did? Thank you so much. I'm really confused because I've basically had the same style my whole life, and I really feel a need for change!

Oh, no problem. :]

Okay. I went to some place that's considered a salon because they do hair colorings, etc. I wasn't sure of what to get for my hair when I got there but I talked about it with the hairdresser and she basically chose what she thought would look best. She washed my hair first because I guess she works better with that [even though my hair was clean, lol]. Then she had me sit down and decided to do long layers [which are always nice because they make the bottom of your hair look so much better.] I also wanted some sort of bangs but because I have cowlick's in the front, they can't give me regular bangs so I got sidebangs instead. I basically just said I wanted sidebangs and she understood. Honestly, I don't know what "hair tapered" would look like, so I highly doubt I got that.

Just ask her for long layers and sidebangs, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. :]
[Remember, it takes a day or two to get used to.]
