Hi, I'm 15/f. I weigh 117 and I'm 5 feet 7 inches.
Sometimes I ate ALOT and overstuffed myself (like 5 meals a day, plus a bunch of snacks in between)...but lately I haven't been feeling very hungry...but I've still ate a fair amount.
Anyways, my weight has stayed the same. I really want to gain weight (maybe 10 pounds) but I don't know how.
Is my weight unhealthy? I know it's not very much, but I figure it can't be too bad for me, because it's not like I try to starve myself.
Please don't just give me a link to a site where there's a calculator for my BMI or whatever.
Also, working out doesn't do very much either. I did cross country and track, yet I weighed the same during those seasons.
and your underweight since your BMI was 18.3 and normal weight is atleast 18.5 as a BMI. those BMI things on the net can be wrong, but you still seem pretty underweight.
dont overstuff yourself. eat 5 meals a day, like a small meal every 2 hours. eat lots of grains, and stuff that makes you like full. you dont wanna get fat, but yea you dont wanna be skinny either. but dont eat lots of unhealthy things, because that can harm you in the future. im assuming you have a high metabolism.. but when your older your metabolism will probably slow down a bit, so when you eat alot you'll gain more weight and it will be harder to work it off. but for now, just eat like a balanced diet of stuff, and exercise alot. remember to give up.. those are the only ways to get more healthy. you can eat candy and stuff too, but like i said, dont eat them all the time unless you want bad teeth, diabetes, and etc in the future.
just remember that your not the only one whos like that. its just as hard for people like you to gain weight as it is for overweight people to lose weight. and your NOT anorexic cause you dont throw up after you eat and stuff.
btw i also heard that eating very rich, good food (like dont get restaurant food all the time, the best food is homecooked!) will make your boobs get bigger! lol

dont worry about your weight. your only 15 and your still growing. i have sumwhat the same problem as you. i too, wish i weighed a little more. i have 2 addives for you, you can either go to your phisician(docotr)and ask for ways to make this work or if you want this confidential, then you can try eating foods such as more dairy, & lots of meat. dont worry kiddo, soon or alater youll gain the weight you want, but i think personally being tall and thin is perfect =]
have a good day & good luck
