lifeguard

Question Posted Monday July 2 2007, 2:49 pm

I want to be certified as a lifeguard, like I don't want a job, I just want to be certified. I went to my YMCA website (one near where i live) which is this:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

i scrolled down to where it says "Become a Lifeguard" Then I "Click here" for information on upcoming programs, and it didn't work. If someone can do this for me and get me the information I would appreciate it soo much.

Master_Betty answered Monday July 2 2007, 10:41 pm:
I'm in the UK and I took a course in lifesaving when I was 16.

It involved going to the pool once a week, learning first aid and such, and I recieved a qualification of r it. It didn't cost me much, just pool entrance and a fee for the certificates.

Go to your local leisure centre and ask about a lifesaving course.
