i don't know if i should have sex or not.
okay, so i'm 14 and i'm going to 9th grade. i've beeen going out with this guy that i think i love since june 19th. i have liked him since the end of 7th grade. and he's liked me for much longer than that. but anyways. my bestfriend has already had sex with her boyfriend. and she thinks that me and my boyfriend she have sex. i mean me and him have talked about it and everything & he said he wants to & i think i really want to, but i'm not really sure if i should or not. because i don't like the fact that i could get pregnant. cause my dad would like kill me if i did. but i want to spend the rest of my life with him. and we make out all of the time. & i want to do more with him. but i just don't know if i should. what do you think i should do?

alright well there's like 3857 things between making out and having sex.. and june 19th? that's like a week. you're only 14 years old.. and you probably haven't been in the relationship long enough to know what love is. i mean, you might- but i really really doubt it. you DEFINITELY shouldn't do it just because your friend said you should- that's dumb. do it cause you both love each other, and nothing else. having sex is a big huge emotional ordeal, when done under the right circumstances. your first time should be special, and not because your best friend did it. your virginity is something that you can NEVER get back, so you don't want to lose it until you're sure you're ready to. if you have to ask advicenators if you're ready to have sex, then you are definitely NOT. when you're ready, you'll just know. your first time should just sort of happen, and not be planned out.. it should come from a natural chemistry between you two, and be very very special. if you do have sex, and you don't feel like it was the most emotional thing of your life, then when you get older, you are going to regret it big time. having sex is a very grown up thing, and if you're not prepared to raise a child if that would occur, then you're not prepared to have sex. if could always happen- you could be on birth control, use a condom, and pull out, and you could still get pregnant. condoms ARE afterall man made, so they aren't perfect. neither if birth control or 'pulling out'.. cause there's always precum. so to answer your question, i don't think you should have sex with him- you don't sound ready at all.. just wait it out, and one day, you'll know when it's right.. especially since you 'think that you love him' you should KNOW that you love him, and also know that you're ready to give up your virginity to him. you should trust him with your heart and soul, and he should feel the same way towards you. ♥ good luck hun, and i hope i helped :)
