video editing software

Question Posted Friday June 8 2007, 7:13 pm

I have to make a video for a school project. none of the people in my group have like actual video cameras which sucks so we're using my mom's digital camera. We're making it in parts divided by each scene. ok so the last time I tried uploading a video from this camera to the computer and putting it together on windows movie maker, i had to convert it from quicktime to windows media player. so, what is the best FREE program to do that and maybe also to edit the video so i can take the parts and make it one big video? the last time i did this i used some random website which made the video bad quality and the voices were off from the mouth. so what's the best thing to use? thanks

to convert the videos, use media-convert.com. it's always worked extremely well for me. windows movie maker will probably be the best program to use for free... you could try searching at download.com but you probably won't be able to download the full program if you find a better one.
