cell phone ringers

i have an lg phone from verizon. its the one thats a flip phone with a camera and its like grey/silver and has the dark blue on it alot of people have it. i was wondering if you can set any of the sounds that you record as your ring tone? if you can how do i do that? thanks!

Ok, I just figured out how to do this myself! What you can't do is set a sound as a ringtone, but quite the same, you can make the sound that you want a video, send the video to your phone, and then set it as your ringtone. If you don't want a video playing when someone is calling, then I'm not sure, but I hope this helps!
