My boyfriend and I have been debating about whether or not sperm is still active when it hits the air. Most people have been saying that it dies only when it dries, and that takes a matter of mintes/hours. Sometimes after we have sex (we use a condom) sperm will be on me or him and we both are worried (paranoid) that it will travel into my vagina and make me pregnant. Ive been recently told that sperm dies once it hits oxygen. Is that true? (i cant get off my head that im pregnant!)

Ive never had experiance.
But i hear that
sperm cannot live outside
the body for very long,
depending on the circumstances.
five minutes is about how long
it will live outside the body
