Well...all I can tell you is boys/girls come and go, but your best friend should always be there. Now, I have been in the same situation, but never ruin a friendship with your best friend over her boyfriend. Keep talking to the boy, don't drop your friendship with him, but give it time. maybe one day they will break up and you can have a shot.
