Last spring I snapped my ACL during soccer. I got surgery at the end of June. It's starting to bother me again after I run and such, and I saw my doctor. I have to get an MRI because I might have some issue with scar tissue developing. They said that if it's bad enough I might have to get surgery. If I do end up having to get surgery, how long will it be until I can be active again? It was a good 6 months until I recovered since my surgery & I swear I was gonna kill myself. I missed a full soccer season and I feel like I've lost a lot of my skill, and if I get another surgery I'd have to miss this next upcoming season to. Thanks so much!
ps. Please don't say to ask my doctor, I'm just looking for a rough estimate right now, until I go and get my MRI so I'm not worrying over nothing, and then I'll ask him.
