How to let a girl down lightly.

Question Posted Wednesday May 23 2007, 7:28 pm

So, to make this short, I used to go out with a girl, and now we are not dating anymore. I've moved on and she seemed to as well, (she is going out with another guy) until recently. She's been flirting with me incessantly everyday and I thought the old ignore-her-and-hopefully-she'll-get-the-message thing is not working. I need a way to let her down easily and I don't know what words will do the trick.

By the way:

CJ here, and I need help. =D

You're asking ME?

I have no clue. Wait. Um...

Tell her, gently, that you've moved on, and that she should too. Tell her that she should probably spend more time with the guy she's currently dating.

That's kinda what I'd do. And if being gentle doesn't work, well...

Be blunt and tell her you're sick of her flirting with you and that she should go away. For good. Forever.

More details, plzkthx?
