Moving Out

Question Posted Monday June 25 2007, 9:45 pm

I heard that in the state of south carolina, you can move out when you're 16 as long as you still go to school and live with a girl. Does anyone know this is true and does anyone know how to break it to your parents that you want to move out?

You can't move out at the age of 16 in ANY state. You can be EMANCIPATED which basically means you're divorcing your parents.

Just tell your parents that you feel you're responsible and mature enough to make it on your own or without their help and that you are considering getting emancipated.

If you need more detail then just ask me! or you can email me at kirstineakin@yahoo.com
