page numbers

how do i make the page numbers start at number one TWO pages after the first page?! i have a cover page, a table of contents, and then i have page one. help?! it says that the table of contents is page 1 cause the settings starts at 0, not -1 !!

Copy and Paste all the pages after the table of contents and the cover to a new document, and then number it that way, so it will start at one.
