8 out of 9 guys at my lunch table have smoked pot before. They were telling me all about it today, actually. All of them said you don't get high the first time. I don't know if this is true for everyone, however, none of them got that reation.

Smoking weed is kind of like smoking cigarettes. Some people can get into that state easier than other people. The first time around doesn't do much, or possibly anything at all. You'll have to smoke marijuana a few times to be able to grasp that feeling. Just don't do anything dumb and get caught at school. That's probably the worst place to smoke weed and get caught.
As for me, I have never smoked marijuana in my life, but I am a supporter of legal marijuana usage and sales. I speak from my friends' experiences.

The first time you smoke weed, you usually have a bad reaction. If you're thinking of doing something for 4/20, don't if it will be your first time.
And honestly, it's not that great after you start. I'd strongly discourage you from starting in the first place.
