hi, you just answered my question about my play/confirmation class. thank you for your help, it means alot. i do have one further question though, since you seem to give good advice. the problem is that my confirmation class is a class with 5 other people my age & we are al assigned specific prayers & we have to practice the service all together, in order, each time. this is why i am afraid to let the confirmation class down & it is harder to ask to reschedual it. do you have any further advice?! thank you so much!

Jaqi answered Friday April 13 2007, 12:33 am: I think a good start would be to talk to your confirmation class teacher or your priest or pastor or whomever you 'answer' to for this class. I'm inclined to think that you're not the first person to have a conflict of schedule and he/she may have some solutions from past experiences that you may not even realize. If he/she takes the "come or else" attitude then you have to do some thinking. Its good that you don't want to let anyone down, but unfortunately you can't be in both places. Perhaps you could skip play practice one time and conf. class the next time or maybe you could spend half the evening at one and half at the other. That way you can squeeze in a little of each. I know that plays take a lot of cordination and practice, I don't know much about conf. classes. Maybe you could bribe your conf. classmates with pizza to meet you another night for some extra practice if you do need to miss one night. Hope this helps, sorry if its not much help...
