I am 15, almost 16, and female. I Recently broke up with my boyfriend. We went out for about 6 months. I loved him, and he loved me, but I just wanted to get away and experience more. He also got a little on my nerves, but I think it was best. However, I have been having some mixed feelings lately. I think that on the one hand it was a bad idea and I miss him terribly. Then on the other hand I think, I don't need him. We went to an event together(we're still friends) and he kissed me in the elevator. Then, he talks about his friend, Kali, in front of me, who is a girl, that he went to the movies with. AHHH I dont know what to do. How should I handle this?????
chuckweed007 answered Friday March 23 2007, 3:51 am: It depends on what you feel. If your only reason for breaking up was for you to experience more, that's fine, but what if he is the one? Also, you will never find somebody who doesn't get on your nerves a little bit, but if you really love him you will be able to get through all of that. He could be serious about this Kali girl, but it could also mean that he wants you back, so he's purposely talking about Kali so you will get jealous. Try not to see that as a mean thing for him to do though, because that might be his only idea. If you think you really want him back (which it sounds like) maybe just tell him that you still have some feelings for him and you made a mistake. Good luck [ chuckweed007's advice column | Ask chuckweed007 A Question ]
