Question Posted Tuesday March 13 2007, 10:13 pm

17/f Ok, so here's the thing, I am not the most fit of people but I love playing volleyball. So my main question is, I want to get fit but there is no volleyball leagues, is there anything specific I could do to prepare myself for another fantastic year of volleyball. I don't need hints on how to play or anything I know how to play, I have been playing since I was 5 what I am asking is how can I get fit for the running and what not. I want to make Var. this year. I have a trampoline in my backyard if there's anything I could do there....

p.s. if anyone answering this question lives in milwaukee, wi. and likes volleyball to let me know and we can talk. :)

you could go running.
Start off a little bit; and go further.
Run for like 15 minutes then walk 5
stuff like that
build endurance

you could also join a gym or try another sport to keep you in shape...

hope it helped and good luck next season!
