I don't like him, but he won't leave me alone! (2)

Question Posted Sunday February 18 2007, 5:54 pm

Alright, I asked this question before, but I don't think I phrased it exactly right.

This is what I posted:

my guy friend asked me out on v-day and it was really cuet and sweet but i just dont like him that way . so i turned him doen. the day after he didnt bother me, i guess he was embarrassed, but now he wont leave me alone! he keeps talking to me alllll the fucking time, more than he used to before he asked me out, and insists on calling me. he told my friends he like loved everyhing about me. its like im in a reallty bad movie, seriously. i feel smothered by him... like he s stalking me or sumthing. i reaally need some help. i want to tell him to go away but i dont know how without hurting his feelings. tx in advance

But I have to add... the guy, who won't stop talking to me, isn't in any of my classes or my lunch, but out of the 8 times we have to walk in the halls to get to either a class or our locker, he found me 6 times! and mos t of the time i didnt see him til he was inmy face. its really creeepy. stalkerrrish help!

try saying or writing a letter and saying"look, since you asked me out you keep trying to get my to go out with you,and you are acting alot different then we were just friends.its not that i dont like you as a friend because your a sweet guy,but i think i just want to keep you as as friend/.so what do you think can we go back to the way things used to be ?"
let me know how it all works out
lots of love,lizzie

I don't suggest hurting someones feelings because I wouldn't want anyone to do that to me and you wouldn't want anyone to do it to you. So hear is one thing you could try when he talks to you short talk him don't be warm at all (don't be nasty) but don't be enthuised try to reply to all his statements with one or two words and when a reply is not required don't reply at all. Another thing you could do is just talk to him maybe he acts this way because he thinks you like him or there is a chance that you can make him you could sit him down and ask him how he feels about you and then let him know youo don't like him like that and he is not your type.

I hope this helps just holla at me if I left anything out!

ok well a friend of mine is kind of going through the same situation. you just need to confront him [which seems like it wont be a problem getting a hold of him considering he is basically stalking you] and tell him straight up, stop bothering me. tell him you just want to be friends and that's that. if he cant accept that you need to just ignore him. there really is no way to do this without hurting him if he likes you that much. but if he does REALLY like you as much as he says he does, he will understand. hope this helps & good luck!!
