I have Sbc yahoo[w/e its called]. Lately, a lot of junk mail has been coming in the bulk folder. How do i stop it from pouring in like this?

There really isn't anything much that can be done about that one, but this can be a factor with any ISP and what I would do is create a throw away e-mail address to use for like all the subscription stuff and things like that and then create a new e-mail address with your ISP and delete your old one. That one, use for like e-mailing friends and family. That's what you should do.
