In your opinion
I don't know if this is in the right category but whatever. Okay, so I'm a strings nerd and I happen to always fall for band geeks. Okay, so there's this guy named Mike who is a drum major (he is one of the 2 guys that conducts the whole marching band while standing on high platforms and such and it's really sexy). I began to know him in late October but before that, our only "connection" was through a guy named John, a friend of both of us. In early Octoberish Nick, my best friend, and I were walking to lunch and our backpacks were killing us with their weights and Mike and John were like standing in line with us and John said because I was beautiful and Mike said because I was cute or osmething like that. But I declined because my shoulder was about to fall off. Then later on, Mike hugged me which was joined by John out of randomness and Mike said "Wow, she's a babe" or something like that. Well, at a football game, I finally got Mike's name and that's when I started to get a crush on him. Well, one day Megan Morgan and I were walking back to strings and Mike came up and put his arm around my shoulder the whole time until he had to go to his class which was on the way to strings class. Then yesterday, we had a little performance where the strings,chorus and band played for little kids and band played last so chorus and strings kids were just sitting in the back watching. Well, I must say that when a guy is conducting the whole thing and looking majestic I guess you can say..it's pretty sexy. Well, after the band finished, my fellow strings students and I got out of the auditorium and Mike came out at the same time I guess. Well Mike was suppose to go right into the band after it but he suprisingly followed me and Morgan half way to the strings class with his arm around my shoulder (he was pulling me really close) until the other drum major found him and got really pissed off. Well, at lunch Mike sat at the same lunch table for the first time and looked at me several times. And then he said he'd come to the strings concert this upcoming week. This is major because 1)no one ever comes to strings unless they're obliged to. 2)Band and Strings don't associate in each other's event much. And I was cool. Nick, Morgan and Megan says that he likes me and that we'd make a cute couple.. yeah
Well, what I'm asking is do you think Mike likes me or is he just being himself or what? What can I do to flirt with him? I can naturally flirt with guys but it's hard around him but I don't know why. Maybe I'm intiminated [sp?] by him in some way? I don't have any classes with him. I can only see him thorugh band stuff and both lunches in which I can never find him unless I ask John to look for him and then John will be like OMG YOU LIKE HIM! So yeah, does his like me and how can I flirt with him?

i'm gonna have to say that.. YES, HE DEFF. LIKES YOU. seriously. you don't have to flirt with him or anything because it seems what your doing right now has made him like you. You'll eventually get comfortable enough with him, believe me. Why don't you call him sometime? Or get his screen name? That would definitely be a good idea. Also, you guys should try hanging out when your out of school. If your not comfortable enough you could bring Morgan or one of your other friends your closer to and have him bring John or something. (or your friend could bring someone she likes.) That way it works for both of you. Don't change one thing about yourself. He might not like it. After all, he DOES like you for who your being right now.
