juicy perfume

ok so i just bought some perfume from juicy couture and i was wondering how to make the scent last longer cause i want to use it for special occasions i heard that if you keep it in a cool dark place it works so i have it in my closet right now and its cool there so is that going to work??

I'm not sure if thats going to work but i know that the scent stays on your skin longer if you put lotion on before the perfume.
