my best friends' ex

so me and one of my best friends ex's have been having this thing going on. he was going to ask me on a date, but when she found out, she flipped and told him not to. i really like him and want him to ask me out, but i don't really know how to tell him that, have any good ideas?

honestly, what i think is if your friend flipped out and told her ex not go ask you on a date, she's either got issues or she's not your friend. a friend should not hold you back from a date. it doesn't matter if it is her ex. she should still encourage you or him. and if they still liked each other, they would still be going out. that's all i got say.
