confused a little
ok. so there is this guy that has liked me since middle of last year. he had a gf but said he liked me more and stuff. he is a major player...but he treats me differently than the other girls. he treats his "flings" like dogs to their face, but he is like super sweet to me and always says how much he likes me and wants to get together. he walks me to class and told me today that his gf of 1 year broke up with them on their anniversary. i'm just worried that if i were to go out with him, he would just get what he wants and leave like everybody else. he doesn't have a good reputation, but he's just different when he's with me...what should i do?

A good "player" always tries to find out what will work to earn a girl's trust, so he can fake it until he gets what he wants. If you think that his personality magically changes because of your effect on him, I have bad news for you. It is extrememly unlikely that he is not playing you. If you were to give it a chance, then do so only on your conditions. You make up the rules of the game, and it he can't abide, then he does not want to be with you. Let the player go.
