Mix equal amounts of lemon juice and rose water, apply to face with a cotton ball, and allow to sit for 30 minutes before rinsing. 15-20 days of this application helps cure pimples and also helps to remove blemishes and scars.
Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning.
For acne that hasn't seemed to respond to anything, steep 2-3 tsp. dried basil leaves in 1 cup boiling water for 10-20 minutes, cool, and apply to affected area with a cotton ball.
If you're willing to try something other than home remedies (which I'm sure you have), I suggest Acne Free (sold at Walmart). They have a three step solution system for people with mild acne, and with severe acne. It runs under $20 for the mild acne solution, and under $30 for the severe solution. They also make a great scar remover which really worked for me. It's called Acne Free Scar Remover. I've tried everything, including Proactiv, which worked, but was too expensive. Acne Free really helped my acne. Another product you can try is called Nature's Cure (which is a pill you take every morning and night). It runs under $10, and is good if you have acne anywhere else other than your face. I use the Nature's Cure pills, Acne Free for Severe Acne, and Acne Free Scar Remover all together (because one works from the inside and the others work from the outside). The other at home remedies I haven't tried, but I got off of a web-site which I use very often and has never given me bad recipes, etc. I hope This helps and good luck
