Question Posted Saturday September 9 2006, 11:07 am
I recently asked a question about teen books with sex in them. You deleted my question because you said I was only 13. This is horrible because:
1. I'm not 13
2. You were very rude to me
3. I actully came here to get advice for me and my very close friend, which this did not help the situation at all because now she's more upset than ever and NEEDS ADVICE.
Let me tell you, I personally will NEVER use this site again.
Here is my question: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
As you have promised to no longer use the site, I don't know if I am wasting my time here or not... I hope not.
You should understand that we have a team of moderators here. Blaming me for a rude deletion message is kinda like blaming a CEO for one of the company's people being snotty to you... and then deleting your own question again, makes it so I can't tell who did it.
So you have blamed the CEO and will not tell him who was rude to you. Not very helpful. ;-)
As for your situation, the account states:
"Age:
13"
The BIO states:
"HEY!!! My nam is Ringo. Ok, not my real name but oh well... I'm 13 years old and live in Minneapolis, Minnesota."
Now, how could you expect a moderator to not take action when it looks like a 13 year old girl trying to find juicy sex books?
Why didn't they take: "I am 42/f and..." seriously? Two reasons:
1.) We see it all the time that someone will pretend to be a different age to get answers to sex questions.
2.) Sharing an account is a reason for that account to be deleted, so people don't typically do that.
If you can be calm about this, and drop the accusation of deliberate intent to disturb, you are welcome to stay, and I will put your question through again.
If you wish to continue to violate the rules (account sharing) and blame me for enforcing a rule even when I didn't know who you even were until you wrote this, then I don't think we can work together.
I hope you will be reasonable about this, since we could certainly use someone of your age to help answer the youngsters questions. (After starting your own account, of course.)
