Playing Gig with Hottie
In December I'm booked to play a gig (I play blues piano) with a guy my age (15, plays guitar) whom I've never met before. I've seen him play before, and my dad said that if I wanted to I could sit in with him and play. Which I definitely want to do because this guy is gorgeous and my dad approves of him, which is rare. My ultimate goal is for him to notice that I have a lot of talent, and that might help me get my foot in the door of the music biz (he's recorded a CD already on an indie label and has famous friends). Anyway, my question is: how do I go about "showing off" without actually "showing off"? I'm generally a calm, cool, and collected person and I want to come across as a smart chick, and I'm not quite sure how to do that because people have told me that I intimidate people a bit when I meet them. kay so when you see him next or are playing wityh him ,just let it appear that you really like him,but dont want to push him.compliment him on his work,and do what girls do best....flirt!!!!!
