I've been friends with this one guy for about half my lifetime, but we hadn't really become GOOD friends until the past few months. I really like him and he knows it, but he doesn't want to start a realtionship before college. He claims that he likes me back, but I don't believe him and I really don't understand how he expects me to react when he tells me that he likes me but he doesn't want to go out. WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN!? I'm kinda afraid that someone's just going to steal him away from me once he goes to college, even though I shouldn't be since he was never really mine to begin with. I don't know whether to be happy or heartbroken since I never really got a strait-up answer. What should I do? Pretend like he never existed and watch him disappear after he goes to college?

Just talk to him and let him know how you feel and ask him how he feels, and if he gives you an answer you don't understand, make sure you get him to explain exactly what he means so there isn't any unclear-ness between you.
