you know how when you sweat you lose weight? well whenever i tan i sweat because of the hotness.. well i was wondering if this can make me lose weight? and if it doesnt then what does it do?

Part of the reason you lose weight is because your body retains a certain amount of water. Your body produces sweat to cool itself down. The moisture helps to cool the surface of the skin. The best way I can explain this is when you are really really hot, spray cold water onto your skin and then stand in front of a fan or air conditioning vent.
