I was looking for a certain kind of acoustic guitar. I found what i wanted in a Takamine guitar, but it was like $900. For anyone who knows guitars, can i find these things in a guitar for under $400? Or find a Takamine guitar cheap?

Check ebay, Guitar Center magazine or website, Musician's Friend magazine or website, and any local music stores you might have in your area. It might also be a good idea to check the classifieds. I don't know how successful that will be because the classifieds in my town really suck, but you might get lucky. I would advise going to a music store and just trying out their guitars that may be similar to the Takamine (I'm not too terribly familiar with Takamine... I'm a Fender girl). You might even like those better! But since you're looking for such a bargain, be prepared to search high and low for a good guitar... and when you find it, you'll be glad you put that much effort into it :) Good luck!
